We have orange and lime trees in the yard and being Ecuador the climate is very tropical, therefore it is not uncommon to have oranges and blossoms at the same time. A few honey bees were found pollinating blossoms and obtaining nectar and pollen was build up on their baskets on their legs.
The Blossoms.
The blossoms are very sweet smelling in nectar and attract a number of bees and insects.
